Welcome to Snobal Midweek. This is where we share our update of what we're hearing, sharing and thinking about this week. As always if you find Snobal Midweek of value, please comment, forward or share.
Recently Snobal launched an exciting new feature on its platform Snobal Cloud - the ability for virtual reality and augmented reality (XR) for business developers to remotely deploy, manage and report on their applications to their customers using the platform.
This feature will enable developers to globally deploy, manage and scale their XR solution and provide their customers with an enterprise grade frictionless experience.
The feature will also enable developers launch easier, scale faster and reach more customers through leveraging the growing Snobal Partner network.
Growing XR for business together with Global Snobal Partner Program
This new release of Snobal Cloud is an important part of the fast growing Snobal Partner Program.
The Snobal Partner Program was ‘soft launched’ early this year with the aim to help accelerate and amplify the impact of the XR for business and to help Snobal partners launch easier and grow faster.
We know first hand that there are innovative XR for business developers and solutions hamstrung by barriers around how to best manage remote deployment and scale of their XR solutions. And how to best expand their geographical footprint to reach more customers and to to do all this with a focus on delivering their business customer an ‘enterprise grade’ experience.
Through opening up Snobal Cloud for developers to deploy, manage and scale their apps / solutions to their customers it means a win win for XR developers and enterprise and education customers.
Developers can focus on what what matters to them i.e app/ solution design and support for their customers and identified markets.
Enterprise and education customers get to connect with a growing network of leaders in the field of XR development, while at the same time having piece of mind around isssues such as remote deployment, over the cloud updates, security and scale.
As outlined in a recent article by James DeVaney, Associate Vice Provost for Academic Innovation at University of Michigan and Jeremy Nelson, Director of XR Initiative at University of Michigan access to quality content and experiences for education (and business- remains a massive challenge for the industry.
Content creation is one of the largest barriers to adoption of XR technologies. While procuring headsets remains a major challenge, it is access to a high-quality catalog of experiences to run on those headsets that often stands in the way….
It’s all about growing XR for business together.
The opening up the platform, Snobal Cloud to business developers was heralded late last year and has been rolled out with a select number of developers globally.
